How Lyrical Stanza became to be started back when its founder, as a freshman in high school, took a creative writing class as an elective as the other options weren't interesting to choose, and he was curious what it was about, clueless about it all. After the elective, he developed a passion for poetry; he kept writing poems to write down his thoughts and feelings or to pass the time. His teacher invited him back to that class later in his senior year to become a teacher assistant, acknowledged by his skills and passion for poetry. That experience helped grow his spark for poetry, being able to share the passion about poetry and how it can be part of someone's life. Fast forwarding to college, the opportunity arose to create a project centered around creating anything a student was passionate about, so the idea to create a place to share about poetry and how to get into it eventually led to the birth of Lyrical Stanza. That eventful experience led to a dedicated place to replicate that feeling.
